Tutoring for: Biology, Human A&P, Microbiology, and Chemistry

Hi!

I received my Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. In addition to my STEM courses and research, I also enjoyed the humanities. After receiving my Bachelors, I left for Alaska where I did graduate coursework in Biology and worked on various sequencing projects--including Next Generation Sequencing of COVID-19 variants. While at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I frequently taught Human A&P labs, as well as Microbiology. I have taught a wide variety of students with different ages, backgrounds, and goals. My role as a tutor is to support the student in achieving their goals with gentle guidance and flexibility.
