I’m an experienced English tutor with an English Literature degree, currently completing my PGCE in English at UCL. Whether you’re working towards a Grade 4/5 or aiming for an 8/9 at GCSE, or studying A-Level English, I’ll tailor lessons to exactly what you need. For students building confidence, we can focus on strong foundation knowledge, paragraph structure, essay planning and understanding mark schemes, so you know exactly how to hit each Assessment Objective. For higher-grade students, lessons can go much deeper into critical analysis, alternative interpretations, theoretical frameworks and social, cultural and historical context, helping you develop sophisticated A-Level-style analysis. I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE and 150/150 in my A-Level English exam, so I know what examiners are looking for and how to turn good ideas into top-band responses.
