I am a qualified doctor with a Master’s in Psychology and Child Development, currently working in education while transitioning into getting my PhD Psychology. My teaching approach is warm, structured, and highly student-centred, with a strong focus on building confidence as well as academic understanding especially with visual learners.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether that involves breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible steps, supporting exam technique, or developing long-term study skills. I have experience working with young adults who have ADHD, Autism and anxiety, and I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning profiles.
In our sessions, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where real learning happens. I use a combination of explanation, active recall, and practice questions to reinforce understanding and help students retain information effectively.
With my background in both healthcare and psychology, I bring a holistic perspective to learning, understanding not just what students need to learn, especially with topics like Developmental and Biological Psychology but how they learn best. I am particularly passionate about supporting students who may feel overlooked or lack confidence, helping them realise their full potential.
Whether you’re preparing for exams or just need extra support, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
