I am a teacher who engages learner in a very inclusive manner. Good with learners with or without SEND

I am a college lecturer currently teaching GCSE Mathematics (Eduqas) and Functional Skills Maths. I specialise in supporting students working towards Functional Skills Entry 3 (equivalent to GCSE grade U/1) and Level 1 (equivalent to GCSE grade 2), as well as GCSE Maths students currently working at grade 3 on the Foundation tier.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience across secondary and further education. This includes previous Maths teaching and cover work in secondary schools, as well as my current college role. I understand the challenges students face at these levels and know how to support them effectively.
I am familiar with the Eduqas two-paper structure, mark schemes, and the common areas where students lose marks. My teaching style is clear, patient and structured. I break topics into simple steps and build confidence through carefully chosen practice and past-paper questions, with a strong focus on exam technique. I am experienced in tailoring my teachings to meet learners of diverse needs.
All lessons are fully online and flexible. The first lesson is free so we can get to know each other, assess current level, and create a clear plan for progress.
