Advert description
As a successful and experienced secondary school English teacher, I have over 18 years' experience teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE English Language and English Literature. I currently teach in a secondary school in London and have a proven track record of helping students build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve excellent results.
In addition to my classroom experience, I am fully trained and experienced in teaching, planning for, and assessing the current GCSE specifications for both English Language and English Literature. This means that my tuition is always up to date with the latest exam requirements and assessment objectives.
My tried-and-tested one-to-one online lessons are tailored to meet each student's individual learning needs, strengths, and goals. Whether you are studying Macbeth, An Inspector Calls, Pride and Prejudice, or preparing for English Language Paper 1 and Paper 2, I provide clear explanations, expert guidance, and structured support to help you succeed.
Lessons are engaging, interactive, and carefully planned. Through modelling, guided practice, targeted tasks, and constructive feedback, students develop the skills and confidence needed to make measurable progress. I work with students from Year 7 through to GCSE level, helping them strengthen their reading, writing, analysis, and examination techniques.
My students consistently improve their understanding, performance, and grades, often noticing increased confidence and progress from the very first lesson.
