I hold a DBS in Adult and Child Education.

During my time at De Montfort University, I developed a comprehensive understanding of the principles of Art and Design. I am confident in my ability to teach a wide range of techniques and mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art. I am passionate about inspiring and encouraging students to express their creativity and develop their artistic talents.

My experience in teaching Art lessons for Years 8 and 9 provided me with valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of teaching Art to young students. During this time, I created lesson plans, managed classroom environments, and provided individualised guidance to students. I also marked student artwork and provided constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. I am confident in my ability to engage with students of different ages, backgrounds and learning abilities, and I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am multilingual and can speak Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Gujarati, and English, and have a basic understanding of Portuguese. This skill would be beneficial in helping students who have difficulty understanding English.

Moreover, I am fully committed to my professional development and recognize the importance of obtaining the necessary qualifications to excel in the teaching profession. As such, I fully intend to undertake additional courses for PGCE in teaching alongside the job position. This will enable me to acquire the qualifications needed for a teaching
