I’m a teacher who cares more about whether you actually understand something than about covering every page in the syllabus.

I have spent more than a decade teaching, mostly in secondary and early college settings, with additional work as a tutor and workshop leader. I have taught mixed-ability classes, exam groups, and students who needed extra support to catch up. Over that time I have planned full schemes of work, marked and moderated assessments, adapted lessons for different needs, and worked with parents and colleagues when a student was struggling.
