Spanish tutor from Barcelona helps you with spanish and catalan

Hola! I'm a private tutor who can help you with spanish and catalan (native speaker here!). I have worked as a private tutor in the past with people in special needs as well as with people who just needed some sort of help with my native languages.

My main goal is to help non-native spanish/catalan speakers to get confident and fluent with the spanish/catalan language, no matter what the level is.

First of all, it is important to know what your goal is, what you need from the spanish/catalan language (a new skill, just a second language, needed because of your job, school, university, etc...).

Once the goal is clear, my focus is to evaluate which is your starting point by a simple conversation in spanish/catalan (if it's possible, if not, we will start from 0).

Being the goal set and having a clear idea about your spanish/catalan level, it's time to get rid of your nerves and start speaking. How will we work on this?

Via online sessions using the discord application for pc or any compatible device and always using active learning whenever is possible.

a) If you have some spanish knowledge:
it's all about maintaining conversations (any subject you like or a given one by me) so I can detect what issues need to be adressed and which one needs to be the first one (things need to be prioritized so you can feel the progression).

From this point, I will explain what the mistake is, what the correct spanish/catalan form is and we will practice on that by active learning, keeping in mind our priorities. Once you feel comfortable, we will look at some alternatives, from basic ones to standard/professional ones because any language (as well as the situation you can find yourself in) is dynamic.

We will also pay attention to the pronunciation, which is one of the main issues that non native spanish/catalan speakers usually fear. And, of course, some theory will be needed, but we'll make it fun, focusing it on practical examples, games, etc...

b) If you have a low level or this is your first spanish/catalan contact:
We will start with some basic theory, trying to keep a practical approach whenever is possible. The main focus is to give you basic roots so you can start taking your own steps.
