Fun and dynamic online Spanish lessons for students of all levels/ages!

I am a native Spanish speaker from Barcelona. I have a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and I have 4 years of experience teaching English in language schools in Spain and in Ireland. I also taught Spanish to primary school students in Ireland and I have a bachelor's degree in Primary Education (Specialisation in Foreign Languages).

I use an eclectic approach when teaching in order to meet the needs of all my students. I like using games and interactive resources in my class so that students have fun in the classroom while they learn at the same time. I believe that grammar must be taught in a traditional way, showing the structure and the uses of each grammar topic, but I feel that it is important for students to use the grammar learned in a communicative way in the classroom. That is why I use communicative tasks in the classroom such as role-plays, group discussions, presentations, debates and speaking games so that students have plenty of opportunities to use the target language. Moreover, even though I rely on coursebooks for some activities, I like using listening/reading resources from other websites, as I want the materials to be relevant for students. By playing videos/reading texts related to their favourite TV shows/movies/books/newspapers, students find it meaningful to learn a second/foreign language, as the content is related to their interests, hobbies and personal lives. I am passionate about the Spanish language and I love learning new things about the language every day as much as I enjoy learning about different cultures. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing students achieve their learning goals, and being able to have helped them along the way.
