I have BA Honours in Fashion / Print from Saint Martins school of Art and over twenty five years of experience working in the fashion industry and creative industries, as a stylist, Fashion Editor, Art Director, Producer and creative.
I have taught BA Textile design, with a specialism in Print Plus at Chelsea college of Arts for 9 years across all cohorts. I have also taught foundation Art & Design at Camberwell College of Arts and lectured in Fashion, Interiors and spacial design at Marangoni college, London.
Much of my years teaching has been working with students on a one to one basis, or in small groups. Guiding and mentoring students through specific creative projects. Discussing ideas and concepts, encouraging them to push themselves creatively and reach their potential as young designers and creatives about to move into the industry. The design courses I have taught on have delivered a wide range of creative avenues for students to explore.
Alumni have gone on to have careers in Fashion, Textiles, Film, Set Design, Styling, Interior design, Creative Direction, Visual Merchandising, some are practicing Artists, illustrators, and makers.
