I am studying for a Masters degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Edinburgh. I have been a privately hired tutor for three years helping children with Arabic as their first language learn English. I took A-Level English Language, achieving an A* grade. This subject familiarised me with the National curriculum for KS1 and KS2 as well because child acquisition of language was an integral part of the course.
