English Language Teacher

To Whom It May Concern
Having graduated with a BA in English Literature, I currently work as an art director in the fashion industry. I am a great communicator and during last years lock-down I decided I would like to retrain as an English Language teacher. To this end, I enrolled on a CELTA course, receiving my qualification in September 2021
Since then, I have started to teach English to students online and I’m also working for the charity Refunet, which helps to teach English to refugees.
With my friendly manner, I’m quickly able to establish a good report with my learners, creating a fun yet productive environment. Although I think that conversational English is a very important skill to have, my lessons will also focus on reading, writing and listening.
My aim is to always make lessons both engaging and interesting, often tailoring them to meet the students individual needs. Classes will also be structured around an end goal, whether that be new grammar or vocabulary.
