Classics Graduate- Share my Passion!

I have recently graduated in Classics from Oxford University, where I studied Latin and Greek for four years.
I studied Latin for A Level, but only picked up Greek when I came to university, so I know how tough it can be to learn a language fast!
I have taught Latin A Level.
My lessons are always structured around text-based practice, and I use many of the techniques which my world-class language teachers at Oxford taught me. I begin each session with a quiz from the previous week, and we will then move on to practice examples of any new language or grammar points in real texts.
Although the key to learning any language is repetition, I ensure that my classes are engaging and fast-paced.
In literature classes, I use a discursive technique between myself and my student , as I believe that forming arguments and having discussions aids memorisation and highlights any gaps in one’s knowledge!
