Biology and History Tutor providing lessons to students of all ages!

I have two years of tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry and History. I am currently working towards a Biology degree at the University of Manchester. I like to take a fun and interactive approach to my learning and really value the use of practice questions and awareness of mark schemes.

Details of my experience:

During my gap year I tutored A-Level Chemistry and Biology to five students from my Sixth form for 9 months. This involved creating lesson plans that included going over student-requested content in an interactive manner, for example using practice exam questions and memory games. The 9 month period that I tutored these individuals helped me to build strong interpersonal relationships with my students, which I believe curated a comfortable environment for the students to learn in.
During my third year at University, I was a mentor for the first year students within the School of Biological Sciences. This took place in a more casual manner, and so session plans were often based off of student requests during the session.
