Advert description
I’m an experienced Psychology tutor, Inclusion practitioner and researcher with a genuine passion for both psychology and supporting young people. Across my career — from school‑based Inclusion work to large‑scale research projects and coaching roles — I’ve always focused on helping learners feel confident, capable and excited about what they’re studying.
I bring an energetic, encouraging teaching style and I try to find the fun in learning wherever I can. You remember more when you’re interested in a topic, so I work hard to connect the curriculum to each student’s individual interests, strengths and real‑life experiences. Whether that’s linking memory to gaming, research methods to real‑world problems, or development to everyday behaviour, I make psychology feel relevant and engaging.
I hold a First‑Class degree in Psychology and have worked on research in child development, cognitive assessment and autism, alongside supporting students with diverse learning needs in educational settings. This combination of academic expertise and hands‑on experience means I can explain complex ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles and help students feel genuinely capable, even in areas they’ve struggled with before.
Above all, I care about creating a supportive, motivating environment where students feel understood, encouraged and proud of their progress. My goal is to help you learn in the way that suits you best — and enjoy the process as much as possible.
