Expertise and Qualifications:

A highly adaptable tutoring style is employed to suit diverse learning needs, ensuring every student receives a personalised and effective educational experience. Experience is held in working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) clients, complemented by a formal Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism, which allows for empathetic and tailored support. Currently, a degree in Mathematics and Its Learning is being pursued, with consistently high academic achievement demonstrated through an outstanding average score of 97.25% on initial assignments. This strong academic foundation is built upon an extensive knowledge base in mathematics fundamentals up to and including GCSE level, providing a solid grounding for all students.

Experience:

Possessing two years of dedicated tutoring experience, including professional training delivery within a demanding civil service environment, a wide range of teaching scenarios has been successfully navigated. Proficiency extends to both engaging group sessions, managing up to 10 students effectively, and focused one-on-one tutoring for individualised attention. Experience includes delivering pre-planned training modules as well as developing bespoke training packages tailored to specific learning objectives. A particular specialisation is in delivering Level 2 Functional Skills Mathematics to adults who have not had the opportunity to gain a mathematics qualification previously, providing an essential equivalent to a lower GCSE and opening doors to valuable apprenticeships and further opportunities.
