My name is Julie and I have a variety of qualifications and varied professional background. I am currently self-employed and I predominantly work with the NHS and education sectors.

My qualifications include English Language and I have successfully completed a PTLLS Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector course.

I have a professional background which includes writing reports and developing documents for executive colleagues and committees. The subject matter is varied and can include technical and medical terminology.

I have delivered workshops and training, professionally and on a voluntary basis. I design workshops to suit the audience. I write the content, delivering information in a variety of ways and to meet the needs of attendees/ delegates/ students, and enable them to increase their knowledge and improve their skills.

I have delivered workshops on a voluntary basis to a variety of clients including vulnerable adults, people with substance misuse issues, people with dual diagnosis learning disability and mental health condition, ex-offenders, people who are homeless. This includes:

English, numeracy
CV writing
interview techniques
confidence building and self-belief
positive mental attitude
managing stress and challenges (including conflict resolution)

I am currently engaged in some part-time work supporting Further Education students.
