Advert description
Hi, I’m Lola! I am a First Class Honours Human Geography graduate and currently completing a Secondary Geography PGCE at the University of Chester, with the aim of becoming a qualified Geography teacher.
I offer supportive and personalised Geography tuition for GCSE and A Level students. Whether you are looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, strengthen your understanding of a particular topic or build confidence in the subject, I can tailor sessions to your individual needs.
I have experience working with children and young people as a qualified swimming teacher, babysitter and through working with children’s clubs. This has developed my ability to communicate clearly, explain concepts in different ways and adapt my approach to suit different learners.
I can support students with both Human and Physical Geography, including:
• Understanding difficult topics and concepts
• Case studies and geographical examples
• Exam preparation and revision
• Exam technique and answering questions
• Structuring longer-mark questions
• Geographical skills and applying knowledge
• Building confidence and improving understanding
My lessons are friendly, structured and focused on helping students make genuine progress. I believe in breaking down more challenging topics into manageable sections and using clear explanations and relevant examples to make Geography easier to understand.
As a trainee Geography teacher, I am developing my teaching practice and have a strong understanding of the skills students need to succeed at GCSE and A Level. I will work with each student to identify areas for improvement and ensure lessons are targeted towards their individual goals.
If you are looking for a knowledgeable, approachable and supportive Geography tutor, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals.
