Online GCSE & A-level Math tutor - 4 years experience

Mechanical Engineering graduate (MEng, University of Bristol) with over four years of online tutoring experience in GCSE Maths and Science, and A-level Maths and Further Maths.

My own background is in the subjects I teach: four A-levels, with A*s in Maths and Biology, plus As in Chemistry and Further Maths, followed by an engineering degree built on first-principles problem-solving, the same approach I bring to every lesson.

How I work:

Live drawing and annotation to make abstract concepts visible and easy to follow.

Past-paper practice marked against the exam mark scheme, so students see precisely where marks are gained and lost.

Lessons shaped around the individual; building underlying understanding for some, sharpening exam technique for others.

Alongside private tuition I've taught STEM in the classroom at British summer schools, with students across a wide range of abilities. My aim in every case is steady, visible progress, and a student who walks into the exam prepared rather than anxious.
