Religious Studies Teacher - teacher with over a decade of experience, working with students in secondary education

I am Head of Religious Studies at an independent school in the south east. I have been teaching for ten years and have experience of educating students of all abilities in both the state and private sectors.

I have a BA (Hons) in Philosophy & History from Cardiff University & a PGCE in Religious Education (Distinction) from Kingston University. I also have a Masters in Education from the University of Cambridge.

I have an excellent track record of examination results at both GCSE and A level, as well as experience of many examination boards (OCR, AQA, Edexcel, IGCSE). At both GCSE & A level my students have an 100% A*-C/9-6 record, even if initially predicted well below this.

I am able to teach a variety of ways and methods to suit different learners (including SEND needs). I offer tutoring in religious studies/education (theology, philosophy and ethics) and philosophy & critical thinking at GCSE, A level and university standard. I can also provide support for UCAS personal statements and Oxbridge interview preparation.
