Through my teaching placements and academic training, I have gained a solid grounding in psychology content alongside effective pedagogical strategies. I have taught Psychology and related social science subjects to post-16 learners, supporting students with exam preparation, assignment work, and the development of key skills such as evaluation, critical thinking, and application of theory to real-world contexts. I am confident in delivering engaging, well-structured sessions that are tailored to individual learning needs and goals. I am particularly passionate about making psychology accessible and meaningful for learners. I use a student-centred approach, adapting explanations, activities, and resources to suit different learning styles and levels of confidence. My experience across Psychology, Criminology, and wider Social Sciences allows me to support learners in making connections between disciplines, which many students find both motivating and beneficial for deeper understanding.
