I am a friendly, patient and approachable STEM educator with a Master’s degree in VLSI Design and professional experience in both the semiconductor industry and higher education. I have worked as a semiconductor engineer and as a university lecturer, where I have taught students from different academic backgrounds and supported them in developing their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
I particularly enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult or intimidating. My approach is to break topics down into clear, manageable steps and use practical, real-world examples wherever possible. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising information.
I can support students with Physics, Mathematics, STEM subjects, Electronics, Digital Electronics, Programming and Engineering fundamentals. I also have experience teaching C, Python and Java, and can support students who are developing their programming and computational thinking skills.
My engineering experience gives me a practical perspective on STEM subjects. I enjoy showing students how the concepts they learn in the classroom connect to technologies and applications they encounter in everyday life and the wider world.
Every student is different, so I aim to adapt my teaching style to their individual needs, confidence and level of understanding. Whether you are looking to strengthen your fundamentals, prepare for an assessment, work through challenging questions or simply become more confident in a subject, I will provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
I am currently developing my teaching practice in the UK and am passionate about continuing to grow as an educator. I value feedback and reflection and aim to make every session purposeful, engaging and relevant to the learner.
My goal is simple: to help students understand, apply and enjoy what they learn, while developing the confidence to solve problems independently.
