A hardworking and enthusiastic person who is very good with problem solving and remaining calm. My lessons are available for all.

I take a student-centred approach by first identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. I break concepts down into simple steps, use real-world examples to make maths relatable, and encourage students to talk through their reasoning. I provide plenty of guided practice and positive reinforcement, creating a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. Using images and objects also help students learn, and get their mind thinking, while ensuring breaks are often encouraged too. It is important to understand and ask what the student expects and what their preference in learning style is. I am easily adaptable to all options.
