Advert description
Hi, I'm an Engineering graduate from Durham University and a former Chip Verification engineer in the semiconductor industry.
I've always enjoyed Maths and Physics, particularly the challenge of taking a difficult problem and breaking it down into something much more manageable.
My professional engineering experience has strengthened my problem-solving skills and given me a practical perspective on the subjects I teach. I enjoy helping students understand the logic behind a concept rather than simply memorising a formula or following a set of steps.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes and build your confidence. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams, or aiming for the top grades, I'll tailor lessons to what you need.
I primarily teach GCSE Maths, and I'm particularly keen to help students who want to develop a deeper understanding of the subject and become more confident problem-solvers.
I'm friendly, patient and genuinely passionate about STEM, and I'd love to help you reach your academic goals.
