Advert description
Hi! My name is Neha, and I am a second-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Kent. I enjoy studying Biomedical Science as it allows me to develop my understanding of the human body and conduct medical research. It also requires a passion for laboratory research to support the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
My goal as a tutor is that students should enjoy the subject. An important aspect of my teaching is tailoring it to the individual's needs, as learning is a personal experience. Being successful in science is about understanding and then applying that knowledge successfully and with confidence to problems. In my approach to teaching, I provide alternative explanations where needed and give students lots of opportunities to answer questions, providing support. Another key area is helping exam students develop effective revision strategies that maximise their time. Understanding what an examiner is looking for is another important part of this.
I have A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and 7s (A) in GCSE English Language, English Literature, Biology, Spanish and Psychology.
A typical lesson would be one hour. I teach KS3 (11-14) and GCSE students. I am available on weekends and weekdays.
I am very excited to support students however I can, whether you are looking to improve grades, gain confidence, or prepare for exams, just drop me a message so we can get started :)
