Patient and encouraging KS2 and KS3 maths tutor

Hi there!

My name is Liv and I am a university student, currently studying an integrated master's course in Forensic Science. Throughout my school life, I have always enjoyed solving maths problems and would love to share my passion with young children in KS2 and KS3, making maths approachable and enjoyable for them too!

My aim in lessons is to help students with topics in maths that they may be struggling with and to help build their confidence in a subject many are apprehensive about. I am always willing to adjust my tutoring methods to best support my students, and, when given the opportunity (meaning if I'm told before the lesson what subject the student would like to cover in our next session), I will prepare my lessons in advance to have the most efficient and beneficial sessions possible. I am always available throughout the week outside of lessons if my students have any quick questions on material covered in class or homework set that they may not fully understand.

I conduct my lessons via Microsoft Teams.
