English Literature Graduate Offering Help and Guidance Through Fun and Stressless Tutoring

Advert description
I have a degree in English Literature from the University of Portsmouth which I attained last summer. Following my achievement, I would love to give the opportunity to students studying their GCSEs and A-Levels to have some help and guidance in understanding what they are being asked to do in their exams and coursework. I was in the first cohort of students who did the 9-1 graded English Literature exam and I feel comprehensive in what tutoring I could support you with.

English grammar and application in literature can be a bit 'mind-boggling' and believe me, I found the journey at times trying. Therefore, I want to give you a stress-free experience where your needs are met for you as an individual. I want to make sure you feel comfortable and understood all whilst achieving your potential! I was often in extra help for my English lessons through primary and secondary but I really persevered and worked with that extra support all the way to submitting that dissertation.

Presently, starting off I can aid with the following texts:

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson
Animal Farm by George Orwell
Poetry with a speciality to Conflict Poetry from AQA
Macbeth by William Shakespere
A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Poetry by Carol Ann Duffy

With this being said, I would be more than open to reading shorter pieces of literature to help you with your work and I of course am familiar with more than those listed, these were just what I studied at school.

What can I offer?

Extract analysis
Proof-reading your work
Context
Grammar and paragraphing
Elevating language
Supporting you with your own ideas
Attaining assessment objectives
Going over the 'basics'

I hope to hear from you soon!
