Hi, I’m Adam — a First-Class Mathematics Honours Graduate from the University of Warwick and a passionate tutor with over two years of experience helping students excel in Maths and the sciences.
From an early age, I’ve loved solving problems and uncovering the 'why' behind them. That curiosity has always driven me to achieve top grades — including an A* in Maths A-level sat one year early, further A*s in Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A-level and a First-Class Honours degree from one of the best Mathematics departments in the UK.
At university, I developed strong logical reasoning and a deep understanding of both foundational and advanced mathematical principles. I wrote a paper on the Riemann Zeta Function and its connection to the Prime Number Theorem — a master’s level topic that I tackled in my second year — earning a remarkable grade of 89%. This experience sharpened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and logically — a skill I now bring to every lesson I teach.
During my studies, I tutored GCSE students in Maths, English Literature, Religious Studies, and Sciences. Many of them were studying foundation-level Maths and improved their final grades by up to two levels — proof that with the right approach and guidance, any student can succeed in maths.
My teaching style is engaging, supportive, and adaptive. I take time to understand how each student thinks, then tailor explanations to suit their learning style. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students step by step — helping them develop the logical reasoning and problem-solving mindset that will serve them in exams and beyond.
I can teach up to A-level Further Mathematics, including Maths GCSE, Free Standing Maths Qualification, AS and A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics (regardless of whether your chosen focus is discrete, pure, statistics or mechanics). If you're studying for the MAT or STEP university entrance exam, I can help you prepare for those too.
If you’re looking for a tutor who combines deep mathematical knowledge with patience, clarity, and a genuine passion for teaching, I’d love to work with you. Together, we’ll make maths not just understandable — but enjoyable.
