My Teaching Experience:
I have been a secondary school mathematics teacher since I graduated from the university till now. I have taught KS3 to KS5 Mathematics. Through being a teacher, I gain invaluable delivery skills in teaching Mathematics and learn how to foster an atmosphere encouraging students to think and ask analytically.

In the meanwhile, I have been a Mathematics tutor teaching students studying KS2 to KS5.

Therefore, I have extensive experience in teaching mathematics and I am extremely familiarize with the Mathematics curriculums of all levels. I fully understand the common mistakes made by students in each topic and how to help my students master the mathematical skills.

How do I teach?
I am a very patient, organized and responsible tutor. I must plan my lessons with clear focuses and design engaging learning tasks that tap my students’ interests and experiences. I use mathematical games and a variety of examples to help my students understand different abstract mathematical concepts. All my students like the way I teach them very much and find it very useful to help them master mathematical skills in long term.

Besides, I always refer to the examination papers of different schools and past papers of public examination to set a series of tailor-made exercises for my students to do in every tutorial lesson and after the lesson. All of my students find the exercises very useful and help consolidate their mathematical knowledge and concepts a lot.

I must set the learning objectives and learning progress for each individual student. It helps my students know what they are going to learn clearly and push themselves aim higher.
