My lessons are aimed at teenagers and adults who want to improve their communication skills

Hello! I'm Italian, and I've been living in England for over 10 years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Arts and Foreign Languages, and I'm a CELTA-qualified teacher, specialised in teaching English as a foreign language. I have several years of experience teaching both English and Italian online.
Teaching languages to people from all over the world is my passion. I speak Italian, English, and Spanish fluently, and I fully understand how challenging learning a new language can be—especially for beginners. That’s why I strive to make my lessons personalised, engaging, and interactive, while always following CELTA methodology and standards.
A typical CELTA-based lesson includes a range of skills and activities such as reading, listening, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, controlled and freer practice, and speaking. I prepare PowerPoint presentations tailored to each student’s level and specific needs to support the lesson structure.
One CELTA technique I find particularly effective is the use of Concept Checking Questions (CCQs) to clarify the meaning and form of new vocabulary or grammar. This helps students discover understanding for themselves, while keeping teacher talk to a minimum.
I'm currently working as an online language tutor, and I’m excited to continue helping students learn and grow, while sharing my love for languages.
