Advert description
Hi, I'm Jaz! I'm a fourth-year Medical student at the University of Cambridge. I also hold a First Class BA in Natural Sciences, specialising in Neuroscience, with four consecutive scholarships and the BJ Everitt Prize for first-class performance throughout. At A-Level I achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and French, and 12 grade 9s at GCSE.
I have over four years of tutoring experience and offer GCSE Maths and Sciences, A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, Oxbridge admissions support for Biological Sciences and Medicine, and medical school application help including personal statements and mock interviews. I can also support current medical students.
At Cambridge I'm a Supervisor, delivering weekly small-group teaching in physiology and neuroscience to medical students in the years below me. My teaching style focuses on building deep understanding from first principles rather than memorising facts. Sessions start with the "why" behind a topic, then move into guided past paper practice. I've helped many students achieve top grades and offers from the most competitive UK universities.
Outside of tutoring, I go to the gym, play badminton, and am learning Mandarin.
