Hi, I’m Elif! I’m a native Turkish speaker from Istanbul, a Koç University graduate, and I’ve spent 15+ years working in English in international environments. I’m also a parent of a primary-school-aged child, so education and learning are a big part of my everyday life. I work with educational materials and reading programmes regularly, and I’ve learned that good teaching isn’t just about explaining things clearly — it’s also about making people feel comfortable enough to try, make mistakes and keep going. Whether you’re starting Turkish from scratch, preparing for an exam, or simply want to feel more confident having everyday conversations, I’ll tailor our lessons to your level, interests and goals. We’ll work on speaking, reading, writing and understanding Turkish in a practical way, without getting lost in rules and memorisation.
