I approach each topic by first discovering how the student effectively learns. Whether that's more visually or analytically, I would change my method to be based around graphs, drawings etc. or algebra and proofs respectively. I find that providing worked examples and then questions the student has to do themselves is the most effective way to fully understand the material.
