GCSE Maths Tutoring For Both Core and Advanced Level

I constantly received A* and As in mathematics during my time in sixth form at CCHS - a leading grammar school in the country. My teachers constantly praised my dedication and passion for the subject, as well as my engagement in lessons of which I'm positive I wish to mirror with my students.
As a young person myself, I understand that school can be quite daunting at times especially when learning completely new and difficult concepts. Just two years ago, I completed my GCSE maths, achieving a grade 8, so I am very familiar with all the content expected of students at this age.
Consequently, I have a lot of compassion for students who need the extra help that they often fail to receive in class. My best interest is in helping pupils to achieve their maximum potential. I believe this can only be established by tailored teaching on an individual basis which focuses on fast, precise feedback and positive encouragement to help build confidence in the classroom and beyond.
Since I have no past tutoring experience, I'm determined to use this opportunity to strengthen my communication and planning skills, as well as present myself as a dependable role model for my students who can make a positive impact on their lives.
My lessons are open to both in-person and online platforms. The content of the lessons can be personalised to the individual with an emphasis on practice papers, consolidating foundational principles, assisting with homework, and preparing students for class tests/formal exams.
I can tutor in person to Burham, Southminster, Cold Norton, Maylandsea, Tillingham, and the surrounding area.
