I have Qualified Teacher Status and have taught a class of 30 in a school for the last 3 years. I have found that the best approach to learning is by using a mixture of techniques. For smaller groups I would use: Assessment, Practise and Practical. I also think it helpful to have multiple different ways to explain the same concept as well as pictorial resources to help support understanding.
