Advert description
I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with a BA in English Language Teaching and a Master’s degree in Education. I have experience teaching in UK secondary school settings and specialise in supporting students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, particularly those preparing for GCSE English Language.
My teaching approach is communicative, structured, and learner-centred. I begin by identifying each student’s goals, strengths, and areas for development. Lessons are carefully tailored to improve reading analysis, writing structure, grammar accuracy, and exam technique. For students learning English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL), I provide clear explanations, targeted language support, and strategies to build both fluency and confidence.
I offer structured homework support, detailed written feedback, and guided practice using GCSE-style questions. Students receive practical exam strategies, model responses, and step-by-step guidance to help them maximise their marks. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and goal-oriented, ensuring steady and measurable progress.
My aim is to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and able to see real improvement over time.
