Physics is a clockwork of reality and to understand it just knowing formulas and all associated math is not enough. I always had deeper and more nuanced way of dealing with this fascinating science. To help someone understand physics, like I often do to my course mates, I like to use analogies and go beyond just stating the formulas. In my opinion, the only way to understand physics is to get grasp of colossal (or miniscule) processes which happen in universe which we happen to inhabit. Math, while being less applicable to practical real-world scenarios, can be easily understood with logic, visualizing and applications to other sciences.
