Science and maths tutor for all ages including exam preparation

It is very easy to be scared of the sciences but with the right approach there is really no need. Breaking courses down into manageable steps is the best way remove the fear of a subject and start to enjoy them which always leads to achieving much more.

I am a high attaining third year student at the University of Bristol studying Chemical Physics. I have experience of tutoring GCSE maths and physics and references can be provided. I am a volunteer in scouting and I am used to working with children and helping them achieve their very best.

I have always achieved highly in my maths and sciences. I have GCSE qualifications to a grade 9 in maths, physics and chemistry. I also have an A* in both maths and physics and an A in chemistry at A-levels. Since my A-levels my knowledge of each of the subjects has improved. I am comfortably working towards a first class degree in a joint chemistry and physics program. This degree is extremely mathematical so my knowledge of all three is comprehensive.

As well as attaining highly I have experience in teaching children with all different abilities. As part of my degree I have learned skills in scientific communication. I have completed communication projects targeted towards many audiences: from ages 9 to 18. I enjoy tailoring my educational presentation to different groups.

I have hands on experience tutoring GCSE maths and science students. The GCSE qualifications are only getting harder as schools pile on the pressure for students to achieve. I have experience working with children in targeting their revision to what they need to focus on to allow the most efficient revision plans.

Overall, I enjoy improving young peoples skills in any of maths, physics or chemistry. They are subjects I have a genuine passion for and seeing young scientists flourish is very exiting to me.
