Advert description
I’m an Environmental Science graduate with a strong academic background in natural hazards, climate processes, pollution, data analysis and environmental assessment. Through university projects and placements, I’ve built skills in fieldwork, data interpretation, environmental reporting, community engagement and explaining technical ideas in simple, accessible language. My experience includes sustainability work with the NHS, community ecology projects, geospatial analysis, and contributing to published research on global irrigation data.
I teach by breaking topics down clearly, using real examples from environmental work and field studies to make concepts easier to understand. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, check understanding regularly, and focus on building confidence in tricky areas like case studies, data interpretation and exam technique. My approach is calm, supportive and practical, helping students connect classroom learning to real‑world environmental issues.
I haven’t tutored before, but I achieved three A grades at A level (including Geography) and a 2:1 BSc in Environmental Science, which has given me strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills.
