Passionate tutor for GCSE, A-Level and University Mathematics Students

I completed a PhD in mathematics at Cardiff University, where I focused an using algebraic and computational techniques to solve problems in physics. I am an experienced mathematics tutor with over 5 years of experience working with students in both private tutoring and TA roles at University level. Particular specialities include the fundamentals of Algebra, Calculus and Analysis, but I am a confident teacher in all areas of mathematics all the way to the interaction of maths with other areas such as biology, physics and even archaeology.

I believe that the key to understanding maths is learning how it works at the fundamental level, before using this understanding to see how it can work under the surface of many different applied areas. I am committed to helping my students come away with a deeper understanding of maths, as well as the technical proficiency to solve a range of problems.
