Environmental Management &Geography Teacher that teaches students Year 7-12

I am an aspiring school leader who is ambitious, enthusiastic and versatile as a geography educator, with excellent communication skills. I have valuable experience relating to and interacting with different people both on a social and professional level. I am well versed and knowledgeable in the following curriculum: IB Diploma, Edexcel, AQA, OCR and CIE (Cambridge International Examinations). I am a certified Cambridge International Examination (CIE) teacher and examiner. Experienced tutor and pedagogue.
I am an educationist with many years’ experience in the teaching profession. My strengths include being industrious in nature, a visionary in my chosen field, having strategic thinking and planning skills, innovative, open to new ideas, techniques and responsive to change and being a team player. I bring to the table an innovative way of learning and teaching of my core subject.
Students that come in contact with me and my method of teaching never remain the same, thus they will transcend to a better level of understanding of my subject and an outstanding result in any examination taken by the student.
I am passionate about teaching and have a very positive attitude and a strong desire to be the best teacher I bring a real commitment to my students and my professional development.
I utilise humor and a variety of multimedia, when appropriate, and various learner focused methods to keep my students engaged.
I view my role as more of a learning facilitator, which I have found that to be very effective and I also have considerable multicultural experience having taught wide range of individuals from different part of the world. I am very user friendly, and work well individually or in a team environment. I am a people person and love people of any age or culture and am very adaptable.
I love teaching and am passionate about it. It energizes me and I put a lot of preparation and energy into my lessons. My classes are very interactive and I have excellent rapport with my students in addition to exemplary classroom management skills. I am never late, will always prepare lesson plans, and will show up ready to teach.
The usage of educational videos and the going of excursion tours goes a long way to enable my student understand concepts and topics in my subject field better, ensuring that my students have outstanding grades/result in their examination.
