I had face-to-face lessons with Minori. She is a very talented teacher. Patient especially when it comes to repeating material from previous classes that hasn't quite latched on. Her English is perfect, which makes it very easy for her to compare Japanese words and sayings with English equivalents. I could already read kana and some few kanji, but Minori helped me feel much more comfortable speaking Japanese and stringing together sentences. When it comes to learning how to speak, it's invaluable having someone to speak to who can understand and correct what you're saying. Minori-san is a kind and experienced teacher and it shows during her lessons, in which she shows her knowledge while being accesible, adapting to the level of the student. She also takes time to reply off the clock. In my case, as a beginner, I feel like i have learnt a lot in a few months! I am from Spain, but we use English and a little bit of Japanese to communicate. Totally recommended!

Minori is an outstanding Japanese language teacher, as well as a very well rounded one who tailors to her students’ needs, linguistic ability and learning methods. It’s easy to focus on her lessons and she provides grammar, conversation and reading exercises that prepare for the JLPT exam and for practical everyday speaking in a professional and casual context in Japan/ with Japanese people. She is also flexible with her schedule despite how busy it is.
