Most people would need a pencil and a paper to calculate it. But if you just multiply 23 by 20 which is 460 and substract 23 which is 437. And that is the answer. This is just a multiplication example where students can practice it and over time, they can do it just from their mind like i did now. I have so many techniques in mathematics like this to teach the students. You may think students can just use a calculator to do this, however it is very important students to do these math problems by mind, so their mind will be practiced for the bigger problems such as differential calculus or trigonometry.
