So what is Graphic design and why would you be interested to explore it? Graphic Design is.. pretty much everything exist around you. It is shop signs, street signs, instructions and words on the packaging, magazine, patterns, etc. To do graphic design is to create beautiful images, illustrations, websites, photographs,.. to convey messages. You get to play around with typography, images, shapes, lines, colours. You get to understand why certain layouts work and why others don't. You get to build a structure in the way you look at things, to see why something is beautiful, and can explain it yourself. You get to understand creativity isn't just a gift but a whole process. Most of all, you get to experiment, to have fun, to learn to rules and break the rules, to approach graphic design in so many ways and mediums. However, everything you will create will serve certain purposes. In short, graphic design is making art that have functions. Sounds intriguing to you?
