Japanese Tutors for beginners and more advanced learners

I am a qualified teacher with a couple of years experience teaching in classrooms across Brighton and Hove. I also have an undergraduate degree in Japanese and Chinese Studies from SOAS University in London. I am hoping to combine the two to teach Japanese (or a little Chinese) to anyone who wants to learn some, whether it's for fun, for work, for travel or for your own studies.

My teaching style will closely mimic that of my university instructors, separating the language into Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, and then bringing them together as a whole. I found this worked well with Japanese in particular because of the differences in the written language and the grammar when compared to English. Of course, the way any lesson would be constructed would also depend on what any learner would need, if they want to focus on a specific area, or look into a specific topic, I will find a way to make it fit to the best of my ability, adapting the resources I have to hand.
