Through my teaching and tutoring experience, both in full-time employment at Brazilian educational facilities and volunteer and teaching assistant work in the UK, as well as my own personal experience with family and friends, I have honed a strong ability to be an empathic and supportive instructor and tutor to students of a large range of ages, backgrounds and abilities, including those classed as SEND or the physically impaired, adjusting my level of tutalage accordingly. I am very confident in the use of ICT, including all elements of Microsoft Office, and, as a non-native resident to the UK, I have developed a good grasp of supportive technology to initially assist with translation. This transferable skill allows insight into struggles a young person may have with understanding tasks and how to subsequently find solutions and strategies to best support learning and development.
