Hello, I am a fully qualified science tutor (PGCE and BSc Biology with Hons). I have 15 years experience teaching in secondary schools and have tutored full time for the last 3 years.
I am extremely approachable and like to develop a good rapport with my students, encouraging them to contact me, even outside of lessons if they need any support, have any subject based questions or just need general advice and guidance.
During my sessions I cover subject content and address any gaps in knowledge or misconceptions. I like to read around the topic with students and encourage student interest. I will then reinforce any content using past examination questions where I look to develop exam technique and provide the student with the tools needed to achieve, and often exceed their target grades.
