English Tutor - secondary school (GCSE, A Level, IB, iGCSE, KS3)

UCL graduate with five years experience teaching English. I am DBS checked, SEND trained with experience teaching all exam boards. I have tutored students across secondary school learning and y approach to tutoring varies based on the student. Each student has varying strengths and challenges with the subject and long term goals. My main priority is to get students to a point where they are achieving those goals and feel more confident in the subject. Most students who look for English tutoring feel as though subject just isn’t a subject that works for them or is incompatible with how their brain works. The big part of my job is understanding their learning style and how their brain works so they can make the subject and the way they learn about it works for them.
