I teach by first assessing each student's current understanding and identifying areas for improvement. I break topics down into manageable steps, use clear explanations and worked examples, and encourage students to think independently by asking questions and discussing their reasoning. I regularly check understanding through practice questions and exam-style tasks, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge, confidence, and exam technique. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where every student can reach their full potential, such as my aged 8 and 9 cousins whom I taught the basics of maths and english to.
