Maths tutor providing learning for all ages

Hello I’m a second year product design student at Bournemouth university. From a very young age I have always had a passion for maths I achieved an A in maths A-level. My aim as a tutor is to help you engage with your subject allowing you to feel confident with maths ready for your exams and to aid you in reaching your full potential. Having had to sit many exams, I know the importance of understanding content fully. I have first-hand experience of the most effective ways to revise for your subjects and ace the exam techniques.
About my lessons

With a new student, I would always start by focusing on the areas in which they do not feel confident with, whether that be through an introductory assessment or what you would personally like to work on, I want to tailor the sessions to suit you to obtain the best results.

We will then go through a selection of learning exercises to discover which learning style works for you to build the best foundation for success in your subject.

Another important factor for the learning of students is through the continuous use of past papers, they will help you gain valuable exam techniques which is a common factor which students struggle with.

My aim through practising exam technique and constantly evaluating and reviewing the syllabus will hopefully leave you confident enough to try some questions on your own. We will go through each past paper in the next lesson to see where we need to improve before we move onto the next topic.
